AOESPD Breakfast!

September 10th, 2015 by Jessica

Friday, September 11th

8-10am in Kaiser Atrium

Tomorrow morning, the sisters of Alpha Omega Epsilon and the brothers of Sigma Phi Delta are joining forces to give you pancakes and bacon! Yes, you heard right! We are feeding you, and we’re doing it for free if you are a first year or transfer student, and only $2 for other students! Quel bargain!

Come on out to Kaiser Atrium for some magical deliciousness! President Carly might even be persuaded to make her famed Cairn-shaped pancakes, if you ask real nice!

Imagine Day!

September 7th, 2015 by Jessica

Imagine Day is tomorrow (or, depending on when you’re reading this, potentially today, or maybe it was a while ago, in which case I don’t know why you are reading this), which can only mean one thing:

RECRUITMENT IS HERE!

We’re all very excited to meet our potential new sisters! Come talk to us at our Imagine Day booth on Main Mall from noon to five, and later in the afternoon, chat with some of our sisters over a burger at the EUS BBQ (free for first years and transfer students, $2 for old ladies like us)!

While you’re at it, have a look at our Recruitment Schedule, read our Recruitment FAQ, and sign up for Recruitment so that we can get in touch with more details!

Spring 2015 Newsletter

May 27th, 2015 by Jessica

Click here to download the newsletter!

Every spring, our International Executive Board requests that we send a newsletter to the other chapters down in the states (and Kelowna). Since the newsletter is also a great summation of what we do during the year for outsiders and potential future members, we are making it available this year for your perusal.

It’s also got some nifty photos. There are at least two of people choking me at formal events.

Good News, Everyone!

April 21st, 2015 by Jessica

A lot of exciting things have happened since we last updated in November. Just to prove that we continue to exist, here’s a rundown of the past five months:

We have successfully relaunched our website and are now running on WordPress! What does this mean? It means we’re prettier and easier to keep updated than before! It means Jessica had something fun to do after all her exams finished super early! Hopefully it also means we won’t go another five months with no updates.

We recently held elections! Carly Jones continues as President, with Rebecca McCreedy and Maria Strasky as Vice-Presidents for half the year each, Theresa Mammarella as Secretary, Vanessa Van Aert as Treasurer, and Eva Savage as Membership Educator. Congratulations to everyone who received positions! A complete list of the new executives and chairs can be found here.
